ADVENTURERS CONCENTRATE

Our gin concentrate is based on the same flavours as our award-winning Adventurers Gin, which resulted from a competition among our passionate team of distillers. We all love the flavour of lime, so each of us worked up a recipe for a single shot distillation (i.e., London Dry) gin featuring lime as a botanical. The result was Adventurers Gin, a silver award winner at this year’s NZ Spirits Awards, masterfully crafted by Shelly.

Recognising the excellence of the original gin, Matahui’s master distiller, Paul, embarked on a mission to create a low-alcohol version. Through extensive experimentation, Paul achieved the perfect balance of concentrate and flavour, offering a refreshing, low-alcohol option. Paul remarks, “At Matahui, we are always pushing the boundaries to keep innovating with new liqueurs and gins. We are delighted to be the first to bring this unique product to market in New Zealand.”

Serving Suggestion: Enjoy Adventurers Gin Concentrate by using just 1/6 of the standard amount of gin (a teaspoon of gin per 100ml tonic), served over ice with Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water. Elevate your drink by garnishing it with a twist of lime or orange peel, or a stick of lemongrass or cucumber.
