A fresh tasting fennel liqueur made from the leaves (fronds) and seeds of the fennel plant. The aroma of sweet fennel and chopped herbs brings to mind the chewy, sticky, black licorice you used to be able to buy in paper bags from the sweet shop… whereas the flavour is intense anise but somehow mellower, and just sweet enough. We love our fennel liqueur chilled as an after-dinner digestivo, but it’s also a useful cocktail ingredient – a little goes a long way!
