During your tour you'll visit our working distillery and productive garden, and finish with a curated tasting in our Cellar Door.
You'll learn how gin is made, our "garden to glass" philosophy, and experience the many different ingredients we use.

Guided Distillery Tour The Experience
1. Arrival & Introduction
Please arrive for your Guided Distillery Tour at Matahui Distillery, 270 Matahui Road, Aongatete 10 minutes early.
Once all guests have arrived you'll have a quick safety briefing before learning about the tradition of gin making and what makes Matahui Distillery different from the "big boys".
2. Garden Tour (weather permitting)
Weather permitting, you'll visit our Gin Garden and see how we're growing our own botanicals right here on site.
3. Path to Flavour
Then your tour guide will take you to our Flavour Lab and introduce you to some of the many different flavours we've distilled. Along the way you'll learn about how gin is made and a little bit about the history of distilling.
4. Tasting
Back at the Cellar Door your tour concludes with a guided tasting of a selection of Matahui Distillery spirits.
